Art & Design > Molecular

In the Molecular stage of my work, I draw inspiration from the shapes of atoms and proteins—seen in pieces like the Globular Chair and ZFN Ring—to develop a visual language. Atoms and proteins form the basis of all life, from single cells to complex organisms, and I’m intrigued by how we visualize and scale these molecular structures. After all, our representations of atoms, DNA, and proteins are inherently constructed. Human attempts to render what we cannot see directly.
